Do you need to find your missing piece? Your perfect match? Are you looking for something that you didn’t even know you needed? Puzzles are good. So are books. Lifelong partners are also fun – if you can find one. Do you know where to look? Bars? Online dating sites? Bookstores? The list is endless as to where one can go to find their perfect match. Your match could even be waiting for you in your own voice.

Ummmm....say again?
Your own voice. Not voice as in assertiveness, or opinion – or even the way you speak. What we are talking about is your singing voice.

“But I can’t sing”, you say.

Yes you can. Everybody can sing. We bet you sing in the shower. Or in the car. Maybe you sing like Arianna or Liza? (and if you’re thinking Liza who? that’s also okay, we won’t judge).

On February 7th and 14th, a community of like-minded humans who gather each Tuesday in a space filled with laughter and song, will be hosting a Speed Singing night. Kinda like Speed Dating, but without the dates. And with singing. Because Valentine's Day. And love. And singing. And not dating. A-hem.

On this night, you will find the match within yourself – your voice part. You will learn about the different voice parts of the acapella world known as Barbershop harmony - the range, the stereotypes, the pros and cons, the way they interact with the other parts – and you will go home with your very own voice match! And you will live happily ever after! (k, that part is not guaranteed, but we will guarantee fun and frivolity)
It is bound to be a night filled with music, laughter and some good old-fashioned silliness. And who knows, maybe you’ll realize that you found more than your voice match – you found a community filled with fabulous humans you didn’t even know you needed in your life.
